Henderson Sport and Social, a new 180,000-square-foot fieldhouse featuring sports and community space, will officially open on Friday, 16 October. The $70 million complex was built as a public-private partnership between the city of Henderson and Kemper Sports.

The facility is open to the public with no membership required, though Henderson residents are eligible for a 20% discount. A soft opening is scheduled to begin on Monday, 5 October, with limited operating hours on Wednesday, 7 October, and Thursday, 15 October. During the opening weekend, the venue will host a silent auction on 16 and 17 October, with all proceeds benefiting the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation.

The venue includes the following features:

• Four convertible basketball courts
• Hybrid turf fields for football and soccer
• Dedicated community and event spaces
• A full fitness centre
• An expansive arcade area
• 20 bowling lanes
• A restaurant
• A mini-golf course
• A double-decker laser tag arena

"We're thrilled to bring Henderson Sport & Social to West Henderson and introduce a destination where sports, entertainment and community can come together," Henderson Sport & Social General Manager Jeff Swanlund said in a statement.
