Albany Med Health System President and CEO Daniel T. Pickett III has announced the appointment of Andrew DeVoe as executive vice president and chief financial officer. The role is effective from 5 October 2026.

DeVoe is currently the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Tufts Medicine in Boston. He will work with leaders across Albany Medical Center, Albany Medical College, Columbia Memorial Health, Glens Falls Hospital, Saratoga Hospital, and the Albany Med Health System Visiting Nurses.

Pickett stated that DeVoe has experience leading organisations through periods of transformation and will assist in building a more integrated system to execute First Choice 2030.

“Andrew is a proven health care leader who understands how disciplined financial management, operational improvement, and thoughtful investment work together to strengthen an academic health system,”

DeVoe previously served for eight years as executive vice president and chief financial officer of TriHealth in Cincinnati. He also held senior vice president and chief financial officer roles at Aria Health System in Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania Health System. His earlier career included positions with Physiotherapy Associates, Apollo Health Street, and Tenet Health System, and he founded the consulting firm Exceptional Healthcare Resources.

“I am excited to join Dan and the leadership team at this important moment in the System’s evolution and look forward to working with colleagues across the System to strengthen our financial performance, support responsible growth, and ensure our resources have the greatest impact where they’re most important: with our patients and communities,” DeVoe said.
