The security situation in the Middle East has already impacted various sporting events. Following the outbreak of the Iran war, Bahrain's race was moved to Malaysia and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was cancelled.

Amidst this uncertainty, the Esports World Cup was recently relocated from Riyadh to Paris. The China-based AG.AL claimed the $7 million Club Championship at the conclusion of the seven-week tournament.
