San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York has pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges following his arrest in East Palestine, Ohio, over the weekend.

York was taken into custody at 9:35 am on Sunday at the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community. Police allege that York responded to an advertisement placed by an undercover officer on a known prostitution site and allegedly attempted to pay approximately $140 for sex.

While York was initially charged with engaging in prostitution, court records indicate that prosecutors amended the charge to disorderly conduct. He was also charged with possessing criminal tools for using his phone to respond to the undercover online advertisement.

The 45-year-old executive spent one day in jail following the arrest. Both the NFL and the 49ers released statements regarding the incident on Monday.
